Sabreen Shaif

Sabreen is the Lead Advocate Service Supervisor for SACMHA. She is also a qualified social worker. And it was her social work experience that led her to a career in advocacy as she realised the gap in support for the most vulnerable members of our communities.
Having been brought up in the local communities which SACMHA serves, she has seen first-hand how opportunities and support can be limited and also how a little bit of support and advocacy can go a long way to support people at their most vulnerable times.
As part of her role Sabreen works closely with clients to understand their unique circumstances and
cocreate tailored solutions that foster empowerment and resilience.
